CHARLES (Charlie) BOYER, Ed.D., Emeritus Professor of Music, educator and music executive for more than 40 years, has taught, conducted, and coached a wide variety of people, from pubescents to prima donnas in middle schools, high schools, and universities.
He has served as a program evaluator and consultant for more than 30 US colleges and universities. Charlie's work in program development resulted in his department receiving a Program of Excellence award from the Colorado Commission on Higher Education, together with more than a half million dollar grant for music technology.
As a coach-based consultant, Charlie works primarily with administrators who want to become extraordinary leaders. His organizational skills and commitment to helping others led Charlie to create LeaderSavers, a weblog forum for helping newer arts administrators Survive and Thrive.
